Company history

BNP Paribas REIM Germany was founded in 1958 and has been successful in fund management for over 60 years. The company was the pioneer of open-ended real estate funds in Germany. In 1997 real estate special funds were also set up for institutional investors for the first time. In late 2007 the strategic decision was made to focus on institutional business. BNP Paribas REIM Germany sees itself here has an innovative provider of solutions for institutional clients in the real estate area. Since 2008 the company has also been offering Luxembourg funds to institutional investors. Real estate debt funds were developed in 2012 as a new product line. Also in 2012 a first investment in Asia was made for an institutional investor.

End of 2013 BNP Paribas REIM Germany (till then iii-investments) was acquired by BNP Paribas Real Estate SAS, Paris, and got its new name. Within the BNP Paribas Real Estate Group BNP Paribas REIM Germany is part of the international business line Investment Management. BNP Paribas Real Estate is part of the business unit Investment Solutions of the BNP Paribas Group.
